Intense Pulse Light

IPL uses high intensity light to trigger your bodies natural healing  mechanism repairing: sun damage, age spots, treating acne, rosacea, broken capillaries, spider veins, and many other skin abnormalities.

Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a non-invasive esthetic laser treatment that uses broad-spectrum light to improve the appearance of the skin. The light penetrates deep into the skin and is absorbed by pigments such as melanin and hemoglobin, causing damage to the targeted cells. This damage triggers the body's natural healing response, which leads to the formation of new collagen and elastin, resulting in improved skin tone and texture.

The benefits of IPL treatments include:

Improved skin tone: IPL treatments can help to reduce the appearance of sun damage, age spots, and redness, resulting in a more even skin tone.

Reduced fine lines and wrinkles: IPL treatments can stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin, which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Reduced acne: IPL treatments can help to reduce the inflammation associated with acne and can also target the bacteria that causes acne.

Reduced rosacea: IPL treatments can help to reduce the redness and flushing associated with rosacea.

Quick recovery time: IPL treatments are non-invasive and have a quick recovery time, with most patients able to return to their normal activities immediately following the treatment.

Long-lasting results: IPL treatments can provide long-lasting results, with many patients experiencing improved skin tone and texture for several months after the treatment.

Overall, IPL treatments are a safe and effective way to improve the appearance of the skin without the need for invasive procedures or long recovery times. They work by targeting pigments in the skin and triggering the body's natural healing response, resulting in improved skin tone, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, and reduced acne and rosacea.

What to expect

Prior to your fist treatment, you will fill out a questionnaire so that we can properly access your skin type and access if your concerns can be addressed with IPL. A 24-hour test spot may be necessary to test for adverse reactions. IPL treatments feel much like a rubber band snapping when the light is triggered, to combat this discomfort we use numbing anesthetic spray,
